4 Ways To Make Money Blogging
By Eileen Hebert

Being able to make money blogging is an attractive prospect for many people. For those who like to write, it is a way to make a living doing something they love to do anyway. For others, it's a way to make an income doing something less grueling, and that takes less of their time, than jobs outside the home.

Fortunately, there are many different ways to profit from blogging. Here are just a few of them.

Blog Monetization

With this technique, you start a blog in a niche you are interested in, like dog training. You earn money by promoting affiliate products on your blog, and also through the use of contextual ads like Google Adsense, that are related to your niche topic.

The great thing about blog monetization is that you can start several blogs about several different subjects that interest you, spend just an hour or so a day maintaining them, and earn money from all of them.

Get Paid to Post

There are companies that will pay you to post about certain products in your blog. For example, say you have a blog about movies. You can get paid anywhere from $5 or more to write about a certain movie, or a new DVD release, in your blog.

A big plus is that you can do several of these a day, especially if you have a lot of blogs in different niches.

To take advantage of pay to post opportunities, your blog will have to be from 1 to 3 months old and indexed in Google. But, once you have your blog up and running, this is a great way to make extra money blogging.

Share the Revenue

If you are unsure about starting your own blog, or figuring out the technical aspects of hosting your own blog, revenue sharing is an option.

With this type of blogging, you work for a blog network. There are ads included with your blog posts. When the network makes money from those ads, you get a share of the profits.

You won't earn a lot this way, but it might be a place to start.

Blog Jobs

Some will find this more appealing than revenue sharing. With this method, you actually get paid a set amount for each blog post. You could make anywhere from $3 to $10 per post. Or you might be paid a "salary." For example, you might be paid $100 a month, but only if you make 20 blog posts in that month.

These are just a few of the ways you can make money blogging. There are many more. No matter your experience level or technical skill, you can find a way that's right for you.

Eileen,
I really enjoyed our session. All the ideas you had for me will defiantly help my business grow and establish me as an expert in my field. You have really encouraged me and inspired me to be creative and to think of so many ways I can generate more business. I have already used one of the ideas you gave me and am working on so many more. This past holiday weekend we had the best week at the store since it has opened and I know it is a direct cause of applying what we discussed.  I would definitely encourage anyone who needs some great advice and direction to work with you.  Please use my testimonial to encourage others. Thank you for your help.

Dear Eileen,
More was gained from my 90 minute consultation than from years of wading and wandering through the available information attempting to find a plan.  I felt understood as a unique individual.  The information and ideas learned were both inspiring and practical regarding opportunities I'd already wondered about plus many more I'd never considered.  There is clarity in the immediate steps I'm now taking doing things that I enjoy plus I learned of many resources I hadn't known existed to look into during the coming weeks and months.  Now, I have the beginnings of a flexible, workable plan and the awareness that I really can create the life I want to live and have the means to support that life.

Hi Eileen,
What a great idea! It's fresh and new and definitely has a lot of potential. I've never heard of anyone doing anything like that. And my husband could help me with the business cards as we have a computer program for that. Yes, I would definitely have to get a portfolio put together. Hmmm......there are a lot of possibilities with this idea. Thanks so much for the suggestion. I will definitely think about it. :-)
