Introducing Eileen Hebert…

Business is in her blood, her bones and her genes.  Your business is in her future.

Eileen Hebert believes that you are most successful when you follow your heart, discover your true calling and work at what you love. She specialized in inspiring and empowering her clients through the discovery, launch and marketing of their new business venture. Eileen provides you with step by step resources and personal support because your success is her business!

In high school, she preferred business courses over academic ones for her electives, and spent her high school years and a few years after working in her mother’s crafts stores. She discovered how much she enjoyed running the business when her mother was not there. She gained retail, customer service, craft making, cash management, vender relations, pricing, inventory and purchasing experience….and decided she preferred to be “in charge”.

An entrepreneur at heart, she founded her first business with her best friend in middle school:  creating jewelry from twisting copper wire, “M & M Wire Twisters.

To date, Eileen has started, built and profited from over a dozen small businesses that include:

·        “Candle Design”, making custom candles from her home shop.

·         “Land of Oz”, an in-home child day care.  This business was very lucrative, but the parents could be difficult at times and eventually Eileen craved adult company as well.

·        “Elegant Design”, Silk Flower Arrangements in artificial water.

By now the internet had entered the market place, so Eileen placed her business online as a Yahoo Store Website. She had a ton of fun selling silk flower arrangements all over the country, and made a truckload of money. She did the entire order fulfillment, packaging, shipping, marketing, web site maintenance, product picture taking, description writing, listing, customer service and everything else---except design the arrangements.

Enter her first mentor: her mother, who did the designs and they shared the production responsibilities.  Along with the enjoyment and the income came the labor intensity of producing each arrangement by hand. Eileen trained her father to do her work, and then sold it to both of her parents, who ran it for several years until they decided to travel instead of running their internet business.

·         “Consider It Done!” for homeowners who needed work done on their homes but had no idea where to find a trustworthy contractor to do the job.  This service connected the consumer with a pre-screened contractor at no charge to the consumer. The contractor paid a 10% fee to “Consider It Done!”

Do we see a pattern here? Eileen says, “I need a twelve step program to help me with my obsession with starting new businesses….”

After staying home for seven years to raise her two children, she returned to work at Horizon Bank as Senior Mortgage Loan Officer where she received awards for her production.  Eileen was not content to do mortgage loans and take care of her family without developing other entrepreneurial projects.

·          “T-Shirt Boutique” started as a hobby creating hand-made designs with Swarovski Crystals.
Many were custom made and one-of-a-kind, and attracted all kinds of celebrity attention.

To: T-Shirt Boutique (through Yahoo! Store Order System)

Subject: Michael McDonald

Hi,

Just thought you'd like to hear a funny story when I was in NYC last week to see Michael McDonald at the Beacon Theatre.  It just so happened that he and the band were staying in the same hotel as we were, and after the show my friend and I went to the room to change my shoes and when we rode the elevator back down we got to the lobby, the doors opened, and there standing right in front of us was Michael!  He was nice enough to talk to us for a few minutes and while he was talking he kept pointing to something.  I kept looking down and around to see what he was pointing at and finally realized that it was the crystal MM t-shirt I was wearing that you had made!  He never said anything, just kept pointing at it.  The fan club is going to use the story in the next edition of the magazine.  Every time I've worn it I get so many compliments, and now Michael even thinks it's cool!!

After building her website on “Yahoo Store!” Eileen created her own label and brand and took her business global. This business was more complex than she had anticipated since she needed to establish overseas importing relationships (Korea) for supplies and materials. Aside from the time change, there were language, monetary and cultural differences to deal with when doing international business. Eventually, the business grew to the point when she sold the t-shirts wholesale to local businesses as well as online.

At that time, her husband, Mike, was deployed to Kuwait for a year so she added dual parenting duties for their two school aged children while continuing her successful career in mortgage banking.  She suspended her entrepreneurial activity during her husband’s absence. But she didn’t suspend her thought processes, and the idea of an eBook germinated as she attended to her professional duties.

As soon as Mike returned and things settled down, Eileen wrote an eBook sharing her vast knowledge on mortgage banking for other loan officer professionals.

http://www.LoanOfficerMarketingSecrets.com (sold through ClickBank)

http://www.Loan-Officer-Marketing-Secrets.com (sold through her own sales page web site).

Her eBook continues to sell well, sending her a regular check from ClickBank.  She enjoyed learning how to set up the information about the selling procedure and auto download process.  And who wouldn’t love that passive income!?!

The internet has opened up so many opportunities for those of us willing to apply our energy and experience to create a business. With the advent of eBay, Eileen sold her T shirts, eBooks, and many other items with a consistent rating of 100%.

Consulting as a “webmaster” for a retail store, “Eden’s Hats” at “Yahoo! Store”, Eileen captured the product in digital images, wrote the copy and established the entire site. At one time she developed another website “She’s at Home” (www.shesathome.com) which she later sold at a profit. After learning so much about the web, she created www.adoption-match.com as a public service to aid infertile, childless couples by informing them about the independent adoption process, as well as assisting them in contacting potential birth mothers.

Eileen,
I really enjoyed our session. All the ideas you had for me will defiantly help my business grow and establish me as an expert in my field. You have really encouraged me and inspired me to be creative and to think of so many ways I can generate more business. I have already used one of the ideas you gave me and am working on so many more. This past holiday weekend we had the best week at the store since it has opened and I know it is a direct cause of applying what we discussed.  I would definitely encourage anyone who needs some great advice and direction to work with you.  Please use my testimonial to encourage others. Thank you for your help.

Dear Eileen,
More was gained from my 90 minute consultation than from years of wading and wandering through the available information attempting to find a plan.  I felt understood as a unique individual.  The information and ideas learned were both inspiring and practical regarding opportunities I'd already wondered about plus many more I'd never considered.  There is clarity in the immediate steps I'm now taking doing things that I enjoy plus I learned of many resources I hadn't known existed to look into during the coming weeks and months.  Now, I have the beginnings of a flexible, workable plan and the awareness that I really can create the life I want to live and have the means to support that life.

Hi Eileen,
What a great idea! It's fresh and new and definitely has a lot of potential. I've never heard of anyone doing anything like that. And my husband could help me with the business cards as we have a computer program for that. Yes, I would definitely have to get a portfolio put together. Hmmm......there are a lot of possibilities with this idea. Thanks so much for the suggestion. I will definitely think about it. :-)
